its super windy today and comet is a notorious wind tunnel. may be impossible to fish depending on the direction

Went there around 1PM. Super windy. Can't even cast 10 ft away...

An old gentleman told me he was already there for ~2 hours with another 10 guys (which all gone when I got there). No one got anything. Weird. Maybe it was the wind I guess.

I never have any luck there on the first stocking. They start bitting around the second stocking usually.

Thanks everyone just got 4 that day it was ridiculously windy had to you half an ounce to cast 50 feet secret spot payed off atleast they weren't dinks either but I don't think 8 hours was worth it lol

hate fishing quinsig from shore its basically ghetto fishing with not much fish at least in my experience. its not bad in the boat though. if i didnt live 5 min away i would never even consider fishing it. if i had more time today i would of went to comet. comet is such a nice pond both shore and boat. comet would be in my top 5 favorite places to trout fish in MA even among wachusett and some cape cod kettle ponds.
