Alexandria/Detroit Lakes Sleeper Shack
« on: Oct 02, 2018, 12:41 PM »
Does anyone know if there are any options for a sleeper shack in the Alexandria or Detroit lakes area? The wife and I will be taking our annual trip and I would like to head somewhere known for their panfish, she doesn't have the patience for walleye. I'm open to other ideas too, I've thought about Leech lake as a back-up plan.
Da Pack!

Quick google search shows some sleeper options in Alexandria. I don't have any knowledge of those operations though. I do know of a very well regarded guide in the Alexandria area, not sure if he has sleeper shacks though; if he doesn't I'm sure he will point you in the right direction.

I know this is an older post, but I will also vouch for Joe Scegura. I've used guides from Florida to Mexico and Joe is the best guide I have ever used. Very personable, puts you on fish, doesn't make excuses. Haven't used him on hardwater but I would not hesitate to call him.
Hardwater fisherman since 2014. All opinions subject to change as experience increases.
