I actually just called Nils usa a few days ago and asked if anyone in nh sold the hand auger, he said closest was cabelas in scarborough. He also said they only do wholesale orders through the Burlington VT location.

Its Rick with the Ice Hole in Brookline NH.  I checked with my supplier and they have a few nils 8" hand augers available.  theyre very pricy.  it would be around $205.00  If I ordered today it would be in next week.  Let me know.  store number is 603-672-1349

There was a bait shop in Haverhill Ma last year that had some Nils.  Think it was called River Street Bait and Tackle.

My brother has one and doesn't ice fish any more..and everyone talks about these...I may have to grab his dust it off and give it a try..
Do ya think you can retro fit it to adapt to a cordless with out damaging it?
I just want to go ice fishing and ignore my adult problems

But in my opinion, worth every penny.
I know your question was about the Nils Power Auger, but I thought I'd offer my 2-cents about the Nils brand just the same.  The way I see it, the way my Nils cuts, I don't need a power auger.
I have the Nils hand auger.  I was a little skeptical at first with the fold-in-half design.  I thought it wouldn't hold up to the rigors of cranking and would be flimsy but was I wrong.  It cuts like no other auger that I've used.  Drilling a hole is nearly effortless.  I used to have to take a few breaks while drilling with my jiffy.  With my Nils, I can drill a hole through 16" in less than 2 minutes.  (maybe less if I'm in a hurry).
