Vote away...as with the DATE poll, this will be open for a week.  Again, I'm not voting because I don't really care.  :)

Thanks Zach!! Everyone should have a voice on where they want to go. I'll be going no matter what or where as long as there is ice and no unexpected problems.

Just being a pain in the ars so you can tell me to stuff it if I am complicating things.
With the current preference for the date should we put the King up for an alternate vote.

I know, I know, leave it be.  >:(

Wellsy,

I think the consensus is lets plan a trip with deffinete ice and then if(when) Lake George Locks up we'll set up another trip with Lake George as the destination.

You guys talk about all these different lakes, raquette, eaton, ect. and whats in what why wouldn't you just go and fish the fulton chain... It has Lakers, Brookies, Salmon, tiger muskie, northerns, perch and crapie.

Look on your map in the adk's(hamilton county) find route 30- find Indian and Long Lake- right between them you will see route 28 off route 30-throw a stone and it will land in raquette lake.
But it looks like you are going to need directions to schroon not raquette for the get together.

Slider, Find I87 north in NY go about 80 miles north of Albany and you will drive right into schroon lake.
And thats one long hike from Pittsburgh. about 600 miles by my guess.
You ever fish the Allegheny res for the eyes?

The fulton chain would be my pick too. You can catch anything in there. Went there to a tounament two years guy with us won the tiger divison with a 52 incher tons of good lakers too.Been fishing there about 25 years never caught a crappie though.Usually it's no problem jigging up smelt either

I'm heading up Friday afternoon.....might skip my last class, and leave at 11:00....probably be there by 2:30 or so....Who's getting a motel room that Friday night?  I'm looking to crash at a motel the first night, so if someone wants to split the cost, that'd be great.  :)

Well...so much for coming up on the 17th. :(  My buddies want to fish next weekend (09-13 Feb) so I wont be able to make it up there the following weekend.  We are either going to fish Schroon, Paradox (pending a cabin rental)  or go up to ELK Lake somewhere off exit 29 (pending a cabin rental).  Have any of you guys been to ELK? I hate going into a place blind and if you guys know of it I would appreciate any info. This bumbs me out because I wanted to hang with you guys that weekend but this is the last time I will see these guys.  On the other hand if any of you guys will be around next weekend PM me and I'll give you a cell# so we can still fish.

This SUX! >:(
