Here are some other pics of it. I have never seen a rainbow with a red belly and orange under the gills. Kind of looks like a cutbow. Too bad we don't have them in NH!

Duck looks like this Bow is starting to get its mature spawning colors on, we catch them with the same coloration from now until ice out on Pleasant lake here in N.H.

It had a big sack of sperm. But if fought lake a baby though. It came right to the hole.

Believe it or not.........the fish came on a trap I had set for lakers. The fish came i5' below the ice on a shiner over 60' of water.

for some reason when they are full of sperm they don't fight. I caught its twin last week at vega (looks the same, same length, etc.), and it was also full of sperm. It also didn't fight. That looks like a cuttbow for sure, sometimes cuttbows have bigger slashes below though, and they tend to be a lighter orange instead of dark orange-red. That looks like almost all of the rainbows here in colorado, that are actually cuttbows. Maybe a bucket biologist put a few cutts in that lake and it hybridized with the rainbow?
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.
