stuck between getting a lowrance elite 5 ice machine or frabill recruit?

Hi guys im looking to buy one of these items this year which do you guys recommend? I have a marcum vx1 pro and i also have a 3 man pop up but im looking to upgrade. Which do you guys think would be best?

I would say recruit first. You already have a flasher. Switching to a graph isn't going to massively change how you fish. On the other hand, moving from a 3 person hub to a one man flip can help change you from sitNfish to runNgun.

thanks for all the responses! but now i have a little problem. I have a 2 door honda civic and the hut will not fit in the truck so i would need to buy a roof rack which in the end after everything it would be cheaper to buy the lowrance elite 5 ice machine.

Do u have a good ice suit? You could look for a used one man shack on Craigslist. That is if you need to fish in a shack.
