NE WI ice
« on: Dec 21, 2006, 07:56 PM »
I was out on Boot lake in Oconto county yesterday about 7" of excellent ice, caught a few gills and perch. Most lakes in the Mountain and Lakewood area have the same, but be careful there some lakes with thinnner areas and a few lakes like Anderson lake near 64 junction that have open holes yet. I also have heard that Shawano Lake has 5+" inches in most areas but also be warned there are open spots as of 12/20/2006.

Be safe!
