Right on guys. You finally got into some ling. I'm back from my outing and didn't even wet a line. Ski-doo problems so I maybe looking into a new one. For now I will fish around here. The one looks like a nice size. Good eating for sure. I'm going to coocoo lake tomorrow am. Graveyard on thursday for some kokanee. Friday still unsure. I will let ya know how I do.

Terry we stayed over by coocooo island. If you do the yaught club, let us know how the sailing goes  ;)  ;) Eh! Good luck with the kokanee.

Sailing was poor this am. Only caught a 26incher, was going to take a pic for tourney but I know I can catch at least 37-40inchers. Let him go. Daniel had a 5-10lber but lost him half way up. Camp lever also slow.
This afternoon I'm off to the local estates  ;)2 for an auction. It will last into the night. I will post what I buy.

Thanks for the holes fishnutz, pitbell and whiskey. I did get 4 burbys. Put them all back. Ranged from 3-4.5 lbs which is under my keeper size. Road very slippery and lots of slush on lake but still plenty of good ice. When it freezes again all will be forgotten. A fox tried to wreak havoc on my pack. Had to chase him away. Heh pitbell, don't know if you made it up the hill there easily, but if you turn left by the estates instead of right, you can get on ice alot easier by the island.

I probably would have problems getting up that hill now. I hope the ice conditions improve by the weekend.

Lloyd drive very icy with water on top. I would reccomend chains. The ice is fine but make sure you kill your fish if you want to keep it cause it could swim away on the surface. In some places there is some snow left but generally 2-3 inches of water on top. I backed out of going down the bobtail today. I went for 5kms and turned around at Lloyd drive. 9 vehicles in ditch between there and PG on highway. If it would just freeze. I think we should blame this all on you pitbell. Last week you were saying something like "When is this cold going to let up" Please pitbell, reverse your hocus pokus spell. -10 would be just fine. If it freezes then the surface will have a hard crust. For now the water is just sitting on top.

Oh man I hate swearing on this site but I will try. This am I was ssssskkk.... ssssssssskkkkkkkuuuuuu u.........  ssssssssskkkkkkkkuuuuu uuuunnnnnnnnnkkkkkkkke eeeeeeeeddddddddddddd. Wow that was hard. I was embarrassed so went off to graveyard and caught 37 fish in 3 hrs. No kokanee though or suckers. Just northern pike minnow, and peamouth and a wall eye. Yes I said a wall eye. Have a look on the new topic I'm starting. Maybe you BC boys can identify it. Sure looks like an eye to me :cookoo: :cookoo: :cookoo:
Heh pitbell, was it northern pikeminnows or suckers you had on your setline there?

Whiskey, I searched everywhere for "lures" yesterday. The only place I didnt check was home harwear. Believe it or not Zellers has the best selection in town. What is wrong with this town? >:(  I told Marty to bring in 9. Three each.

Pitbell & Whisk, How did you guys make out...(any tongue?) @ the estates? Sorry I couldn't make it, the warden hadn't seen me all weekend and I'm "always out fishing when I'm not at work". Women! :cookoo: This coming weekend looks good for fishing(if we have any ice left), so hopefully we can get a few mud blowers. We should plan a "pout" night and have a little mini derby, anyone interested? Maybe sometime in Feb.We could have a big fish fry after and cook up the catch. Possibly an annual event for the die-hard gudgeon hunters. Sorry to hear about your dismal day, Terry, at least you didn't get skunked at graveyard! Take it easy and keep it reel.

P.S Anyone know who's buried at graveyard? ???

Its an old native buriel ground I heard.
I'm in for a tourney but am gone to Edmonton for the big Pigeon lake derby. Usually 4000 people fishing there.
