Elk Lake

  Fished Elk Lake Sunday from 3:30 to 5:30.  Nice little lake, water very clear and 6" of ice.  I heard reports  of large perch taken from this lake, however all we saw were a couple small walleyes and one small perch.  Deepest spot is only six foot, maybee it froze out last year but I doubt that.  Any info on this little gem would be greatly appreciated?

I fish a small lake around here thats 8ft deep max it doesnt have an aerator and it had a bad winterkill last winter.  Definetly possible.
