CHOCORUA LAKE

Does anyone know how the ice is on Chocorua. I was hoping to get another trip in with my little girl and don't want to drive all the way up from Somersworth and not be able to get on. Any info or other suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the Info. I'm assuming the edges are ok so we can get on. Not a fan of pushing the envelope of good taste with an 8 yr old

I drove by it last saturday, open water around the bridge out of 50 feet or so into the main lake. Didn't see anyone on it but the rest looked ok, had about 7-10 inches of snow on it and didn't see any dark spots out in the middle.

I'll check the ice on my way home today and report back, but most of the lakes up near the Mount Washington Valley have lots of ice, Silver had 18" the other day and I would expect most lakes to be similar...
