Went out yesterday afternoon to small farm pond around Carlisle. Man, was the ice spooky. Had 2 1/2 inches of REALLY crappy ice on top of around 2 inches of good clear ice. Buddy and I did manage to catch some nice gills in the couple hours we were out though. Good thing for the Vex, was in 10 feet of water catching fish suspended from 3 1/2 feet to about 7 feet. Thinkin' I'm done for a while after todays little warm up, though.
