What about rocks hitting the roof?  Any rock guard planned?

Do you have the weight?
I didn't have problems with the last tip down shanty with stones hitting the roof. I'll weigh the shanty this week at the local junk yard.

Looks good.  Could you tell more about the shrink wrap process?  That is very interesting to me, a great way to have wind and weather proof at a light weight.

Thanks, Jeff

It is a fabulous solution and you can have it in any color you want so long as its blue (or perhaps white?).

I was using 6mil boat shrink wrap plastic. Here is a video on how to shrink wrap.

The weight of the shanty is 540 pounds. More then I thought it would be, because I used a lighter trailer. It did pull very nice at 65 mph.

I have a vinyl cutter and I applied this reflective vinyl on the back/bottom of the shanty.

Yes, one person can tip it up and tip it down. You can buy the boat shrink wrap online or look for a place that shrink wraps boats for the winter. They might have a small roll that can't be used.

This video is from the last Tip Down Shanty I built. My new one is just a little smaller and has a different trailer.

This is the 2nd tip down I built. On my first shanty I had no problems with stones hitting the roof.
