Caught this 12 lbs 35" laker on Harris Bay.
Stop complaining do something about it.

holy cow, nice job.   but, how big a' hole did you need to get them pigs up through?  last ice season i had a laker on and it wouldn't fit through a 12 inch hole.  any answers on why it wouldn't?  it still taunts me, 1 year later.
get out there and fish...or hunt

I would bet it was because you never got the head started.In order for a LT not to fit through a 12" hole it would have to have a 36" girth +/- and would put it up around 60+pounds.BB
