I've caught eye's w/growths, but this one was nasty! It had small zebra's on it too! Probably should have chucked it but it was under15.

I think it is Dermal Sarcoma or......... "Walleye Warts"

If you caught this fish on Oneida it could be Epidermal hyperplasia.

yup thats what it is. walleye warts aka cold water soars.it doesnt hurt the meat.i have caught several of these on red lake and lake of the woods.

was fishing along with some guys i met this morning on the ice
father and son,caught a couple nice perch but they were hittin them better on there tip ups live minnow
as the son pulled one in i was right next to him and noticed some funk on the perch
ive caught many eyes with them warts and seen some on some smallmouth and perch
but this slim i havent seen it looked like one of the warts until he scraped it on the ice and it came off very easily
then it looked like a brownish slim around a sore not nice at all
the dude says dad you see this sore on this fish,im not eattin this one i dont care!!!

then the old man looked at it and said jesus throw it back

the kid said ill keep him hes just not going near the keepers

i still dont know what this was hope to not see it again the warts enough
