I just picked up an 8 month old used Ion 40 volt with reverse for $300.00. It looks barely used, except the cheap plastic operating lock lever is broke off. I can still use it by pressing stub with my thumb. Original owner also purchased a 2 yr. service plan when purchasing auger at Gander Mountain. Still have 16 mo. on contract, it covers accidental damage, etc., so hopefully I can get it fixed. Think this was a good deal?

If the 2 year service plan is transferable then it's a steal. I purchased a 2 year service plan on an ice shanty with GM and it definitely payed off for me. The sled was slightly damaged and there was a small tear on one of the seats. I was able to get a full refund and keep the shanty.
