Has anyone herd anything on the perch fishing at big spirit?
-
Yep it's slow, mobiltys tough unless you have a snowmobile. I haven't heard of any great reports for awhile.
-
Last sunday i had a hard time even marking fish let alone getting one to bite. Hopefully it will turn around one of these days.

4 nice perch and 2 gill, threw every kind of tackle at them just seems to be slow.
-
You fished 4 days for 6 fish? That was a long drive home.
-
Stopped at a good farm pound I knew about and pick up 12 crappie and 25 gills so for puttin 600 miles on the truck it wasn't all bad. Plus it was nice to meet some of the people up in NW Iowa.

I was on the lake Tuesday & Wednesday. The mornings were very slow, evenings were OK. Lots of lookers but not very many bites. Did get some walleye & perch.
-
Any size to the walleye and perch?
-
Nothing to brag about but worth cleaning & eating.
-
anyone having any luck? is it easy drive around the lake now that some snow melted?
-
Six of us caught 2 8" perch this morning no fish on the cams even the retired guys say it sucks!!!!
-
What area of the lake are you on?
-
The NW side today.
-
I didn't mark very many fish up there. Marked & caught fish near the middle. Haven't tried the south end yet.
