Just wanted to say hello

I'm new to ice shanty, so I just wanted to say hi.  I enjoy fishing for (and smoking)
Kokanee, as well as perch.  I've been up to Georgetown a few times so far this year, and have had some luck.

i'm new to the site as well...read some other posts that mentioned new members need 5 posts of their own to access the local fishing reports? i'm up to two...just moved to the bozeman area...born and raised fishing for walleye, perch, pike and lake trout on lake superior and lake michigan in the upper peninsula. looking forward to learning the local hot spots!

Well I not a yooper, but born and raised in a small town near Alpena and went to school in Houghton at Tech for a couple years.  I live in Belgrade and have been here for 6 years now.  I have a good buddy I met out here that is from Newberry.

yah, i think there's a fair number of upper-midwest transplants around here. heck...a hungry fella from da UP can even find pastys over there by butte!
so i understand there's some good fishing right in bozeman...some city ponds or something? where the heck are they? thanks for any info and/or advice...
