White Lake Medical Incident
« on: Mar 02, 2015, 07:37 AM »

   Hi,

We live on White Lake in Whitehall and last night seen a fellow fisherman on his back getting chest compressions, he appeared to have two younger children with him. He was on his back a good 20 minutes or longer before they finally got him to shore, didnt hear anything of it but hope he is ok! Anyone have anymore info feel free to chime in!

White Lake Fire Authority facebook page has a call log. It has a medical emergency on the lake listed but no other info.

Just to inform you of the gentlemen that was having CPR performed on him he did not make it. They worked on him all the way to the hospital.  His wife had cold feet and he said his were cold also. He stood up to get things together and collapsed to the ice.

That is a shame. One never knows what God has planned for us and I am a firm believer that when it is your time God will come to take you home. Prayers for his wife and family.

It is a shame that the family has to go through this tragic time. But all I can say is look at the memories they have of the last time being spent with their family member are good memories. Having fun out on the lake catching fish and enjoying each others company.  Like you said when its your time God will take you and only he knows what is planned for us.

The death rate recently... between elders' deaths, this stuff and the other big story around here there is way too much death... It's as if we're being punished. Sad story.  :(

second best way to go!
too bad it was in front of his family. hopefully the kids will continue what dad taught them about ice fishing.
maybe the ponds are stocked better than on the other side!
condolences for the family and friends, until they meet up again.
