lens lake stony creek ny?

i go up the every year in july and when i go fishing i never catch a thing! dose any one know the water deths and any good lures? i have never even seen any fish in the water!

lens lake yup 4 min from my house.the whole lake is like a big bowl to about 9' there are some bass and pickeral in there best way to get them is wait till the weeds start to come in and fish weedless rigs in the lilly pads,there are a ton of bullhead in there you can get rite at the launch they will hit real good there.to be honest though i don't waste my time at lens any more and just drive up to harrisburg lake where there are tons of piks and some real good bass and gills.

yeah i just go up there on va k  hou is the best way to catch those bull heads? i go up in the second week i July. any good lures or spots i can go to? thanks

on lens you can get the bullheads at night rite off the launch with chicken livers or just plain night crawlers on a single hook in a big ol wad, just cast out tighten the slack and wait for the bite.harrisburg is a little bigger of a lake and not much farther away,the fishing is a lot better there and there are 2 parts to the lake the road splits the lake in 2 both sides are great fishing

Years ago i saw tons of guys bullhead fishing on harrisburg. i decided to try it a couple years ago, probably went 3 times without a bite. i know they were hitting everywhere else. Anyone know if the bullheads still bite there?

yup they still get them there just look for all the camp fires.i got the biggest bull head i'v ever seen there 1 day while bass fishing..
