heading up there in the a.m.heard the lakers are starting to hit,any info on ice thickness would be helpful.would love to hook into one of those big fat browns,if the damn wind doesnt blow me the shanty off the ice!

We were  going today but the wind is Very heavy ,Ice is good..

thanks snag,doesnt seem like a guy can get a break from this wind!went out last sunday on gilman lake and wound up in 6'' of slop on the ice.im going to give it a shot on the southern side of canada near the island!!
