I didn't know that Keuka had pike. I thought it just had pickerel. :cookoo:

Real nice fish though.

looks more like 32lbs
If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York

You are exactly right.  I was going out to Braddocks Bay perch fishing last year late in the afternoon.  This old guy was coming off the ice and said, "Sonny, you should turn around and go back home.  Don't waste your time, they're not biting today". A lot of guys were leaving.  I went out there anyways and about a 1/2 hour before dark, we started slamming them.  I couldn't fish with two poles because they were hitting so fast.  I've also seen some big pike caught late in the day on tip ups just before dark.  It pays off to stay out there a little later.

I was there the day you got that pike, It was a weird day it rained and then fog. I looked out and saw about 20 people walking in one direction through the fog. I thought I was in a horror film. It was real nice of you to let the kids hold up that Pike. See you next winter
