Has anyone fished smallies through the ice and if you have how deep do you guys fish because I want to try to get some bronze backs on the tip ups.

I heard to fish deep water, about 40 feet deep on drop offs and put some in the shallows to get some of the more aggressive fish who are in there just to chase the shallow water Perch.
