Guys and gals
I have been presented with the opportunity to purchase a Clam X2 thermal that has been fished in 1 time for 1 1/2 hrs end of last season. It looks brand new and comes with a deluxe travel cover, hi-fax kit, led light bar installed, battery box and deluxe tow bar for 700.00. I am needing your feedback or experience with this sled or similar. This will be my first flip over shanty and want to make sure I'm doing it right.
Any info will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I bought one and used it all last season, an awesome flip over. It is very heavy so keep that in mind, because its heavy its very durable and comfortable. I bought mine on black Friday and paid 599.00 but the runners cost 100.00 and the cover another 60.00. Buy it you will love it, as long as you have a means to drag it. Last year i didn't use my 4 wheeler or snowmobile because of the ice conditions. I'm 6' and way 225.00 in pretty good shape and long distance drags especially on the way back where brutal.

Thank you MCB, really looking forward to it.

x2 on the heavy. But in my opinion well worth it. Even on the coldest days you can be fishing in a sweatshirt with a buddy heater on Medium (low on most days).

Other then weight you wont buy anything warmer, better built, plus I like the ablity to stand up in mine when it gets warmed up to take my jacket off and relax

I have a 2008-X2 ,3 years ago I put a thermal top on it for holding more heat and it's much quieter , the original non thermal top is still in great shape I couldn't be happier I use it as a 1 man , but is heavy at 145 #
