12:34am 30 degrees. Crunched through some ice puddles at 1:30pm today launching the boat in Wyandotte. Put a smile on my face. I'm praying the Dec 15th-20th forecast holds

On Accuweather after the weekend, the forecast calls for Ice Makin weather. Hopefully they're right for once. Only see a couple days above 32 for the rest of the Monthly forecast...Hey, a guy can dream.

28*f at 6:00 am now 33*f at 10:29 a.m. 12/6/12 by the way we do have ice in south east michigan just not able to stand on it. on some of the smaller pounds but it will be gone by tonight. any ways went to flat rock wter is extreamly low and no fish up at huroc park in flat rock no water no steel. = no fun. was at the coffer at 6 am no one was there no one till about 9:29 a.m. two guys showed up looked at how low the water was and left . any ways skunked again today will be back sooner or later. best of luck guys get out and fish no fun if you do not. i remember one year we did not get snow till x mas it was about 1995 and ice till new years so hope we get some till then will be around.

The way I see it if its not going to get cold enough to make ice then It should be warm enough to use the boat all year. I'm starting my tire and used oil fire. Burn baby burn!
