Do tri-pods help keep aqua vue on your bait.

  Welcome to the site.  As far as I'm concerned a tri pod is a must and if you can a pro pod is even better.To answer your question yes it works great.  If something moves the camera [I have teeth marks on mine] the tri will make it easier to get camera back on bait and big gill faster.  Good fishing

I used the tri-pod for a year and then bought the compass.  The dial on the tri pod doesn't float and the compass actually covers the hole (and it's black so it absorbes heat) and reduces freeze up.
