If you had to pick a favorite beer as an ice fishing mascot, what would it be? How about favorite beer to have on the ice? (Must be 21 to reply to this post

)

Ex - My favorite must be Leinenkugel's Amber light... Or maybe Northwoods....

However, there is a local brewery around here that makes a Floppin' Crappie... not bad for a beer mascot name...

I normally dont drink on the ice because i am a serious fisherman (jig jig jig catch catch catch) hehe But for the couple of trips a year of hanging out on the ice, I may tip back a few only if its thick ice. Drinking and icefishing on thin ice can be very dangerous if something bad happens

I don't know about you, but I could use a nice cold Yuengling Traditional Lager right about now. Amber beers help you see better, too, just like those amber shooting glasses... Rarely do I drink on the ice, though...

I've got a split beer personality. If in the mood for good beer its Leinie's Red or Northwoods, New Castle Brown Ale, or any of New Glarus Brewery's selections. If I'm in the mood for slumming it's got to be Blatz or PBR. I think they're imprinted on me because that's what I used to steal from my dad's garage fridge.

Anything that will get me drunk!! Not too picky like most beers. For some reason miller light always goes down smooth and fast on the ice. Hate genny and bud light. Favorite beer Yuengling or Guinness.

but its hard to beat a New Glarus spotted cow, or any of their other selections. although i am a die hard leinies fan when it come down to it.

Good beer down in that area.. good cheese, too.... (I'm from Janesville) maybe the next topic should be cheese mascot

i would have to say squeeky cheese, right from the dairy. (i.e. young brick)... man i need to go fishing......

Man I drank alot of Blatz light with my grandpa and grandma in their drinking days. Now Grandpa & I will have a couple leinies instead. He says they get him drunk faster so Grandma doesn't know. lol. Leinies is a newly acquired taste for me. I used to hate it, now I'm a fan
