I'm  in Quebec city so prefer here just for fun or St-Pierre Lake!(South side) (Sorel)..But i recently found a place for trout! I think it's not to far for me and same for you! Abénaquis Lake!

I dont kwow if you still read french! here a couple of link!

Yess ,, our laws for there are strange!

For the Laketrout, here in zone 2 it's closed since mid-september! what it is for you?

And we got something very strange that i discovered since 5 min.! Wow..Dont know if it because the fact that the lake is in middle of the border, but it's amazing! We cannot overpass 10feet depth water from the shore! What a deal! ;D

what!! thats crazy! for us we cant cross the middle of the lake but we can fish anywhere on our side. it opened jan. 1 to mar. 31. 2 lake trout 2 brook trout, 2 salmon. no limit on muskie. 3 whitefish. thats the limit on our side. i dont know why they would say 10ft. of water. thats 5ft. from shore on most places on that lake. thats why i barely see any fishermen from your side. would be better off to get a 1 day license from this side. glazier lake which is just downstream is a border water w/ new brunswick and we can fish all over the lake but not inside a cove on the canadian side.

Wow! really like your rules!

And i'm sure that a non-resident license is cheaper in your side! ;)
