i've talked about jigging the bridge piling for walleye in the winter but we've never done it.

I fished the bridge under the powerlines yesterday.  I have livescope and was really surprised with the amount of fish moving around that area.
The water was 34' deep and fish were interested but no bites.
I had a few others come and go around me that fished shallower water with no luck as well. The ice was good arond 7 inches.
Found an unmarked tree on way out with fish in it but no takers there either.

Glad it wasn’t just me.... I was on brush piles and could only get a couple small ones out of them.

I haven't done well at Macbride all year.  I fish it a lot and don't always have great days, but can usually get on some crappies, gills and occasionally a walleye.  This year it has been mark a lot of fish but few bite and those that do are dinks.  I was out yesterday around 3 and struggled to mark fish.  Those that I did mark were negative and swam by or came up to my jig and didn't bite.

Heard a similar report from some guys who had a camera down.  Wipers, walleyes, and crappies moving through, but nothing biting.  This report was from Friday afternoon / evening.   I have had the same experience with my Panoptix.  Marking a lot of fish, but most swim by or take a look at the jig and don't bite.
