I just replaced 2 of the white led's with a 375 and 400nm UV led in one.  This was easy enough to replace the two LEDs, two small thru solder holes on each.

Easier way if it is in the budget is to go to your local sporting goods store that has a variety of ice fishing equipment and purchase the vexilar produced glo lite ring that fits nicely in one of the 2 spots for vexilar options on the base and connects with alligator clips to the posts on the front of the base. Even has an on/off switch wired in. Allegedly charges a jig in 1 second. I used mine this weekend for the first time and it worked wonderfully. Might end up changing the clips to something easier to connect and disconnect when the hands are cold, but otherwise. Well worth the 29.99 they are charging for them.

I believe the Vex cup is only uses a single wavelength led.    The flex light is also nice that you can easily direct the light away from direct eyesight.
