New to rattle reels
« on: Jan 07, 2018, 07:58 PM »
Hey guys, new to rattle reels. I have 2 reels from ultimate outdoors and I have been getting a few walleye on them but am wondering if I am missing out and nobody in Lake Winnebago uses them so I can’t grill the locals. Anyways. Do I need to fill the spool with tip up line or is the 50 ft I have in enough? The deepest water I fish is 18ft. Would filling the spools mane the line pull off easier or smoother? Use a small bobber at the hole? Or a paper clip at the reel to make the depth of the bait? Any tips would be great!
