Hey Guys, Whats your favorite crappie jig for night fishing, Im glow greenice ticks or the small sweedish pimples with the glow strip but I trade out the trebble hook for a hali-chain, both tipped with maggs. Anyone like glow blue or red better?? FISH-ON Thanx

That would be a 1/16 ounce techiglow frostee spoon tipped with a waxworm. If fish are less active at night, I would use a glow shrimpo in white or chartreuse tipped with a waxworm or better yet a maggie.

i like to fish with a fat boy with a minnow or forage minnow with spikes.

When they're aggressive, a #8 or #10 demon. When finicky, a #12 marmooshka tipped w/ 2 fat waxies

when you find a school just about any lure will work but i still like a small minnow on a 6 aberdeen or glow jig.

Forage minnow and a Hali. If they are light bitters I will put on a Hail dropper chain on the Forage.

My go to lure this year is a Marmooska tipped with spikes. If that fails, I go to a shrimpo with a chartruese or white tail. If I get deperate, I hook up a small minnow on a jig or single hook with a split shot and watch on electronics. Sometimes the crappies will drive you nuts. Other times, they hit with reckless abandon. Caught my biggest of year, a 13 incher, watching electronics. It hit so light, I could not detect it even with the spring bobber. Problem may have been with operator. LOL

I dont catch too many of them through the ice but in the Spring i use a Rufus Jr under a weighted bobber and i slaughter them....
