I've lived in southeastern Michigan my whole life and fish around 20 different lakes
in a winter. So many lakes so little time. I target bluegill, crappie, perch and 'eyes
mostly on Hillsdale lakes. I learn about hotspots from other ice anglers, at the bait
stores, and the jungle telegraph the veterans keep going. I see Iceshanty as
another tool we can use to find fish. The snowmobiles and 4wheelers have chased me off of most of the Irishhills lakes and the farmponds have gotten tougher to access. So post a few of your better lakes when they are bitting good. Besides it
gives us a chance to brag a little. Nothing wrong with that. Happy holidays fellow
hardwater nuts.
