yes.i didnt take a pic of the raw bird with a can up its butt because it did not look appetizing.lol.i will try to remember when its finished.did take a smoker shot tho.made a bunch of cowboy candy out of a ton of jalapeños this morning too.that wont be prime for 2 weeks.

no these are candied jalapeños.sliced and put in vinegar,sugar,tumeric,celery seed and garlic powder.boil that down and makes a sweet and hot treat.canned and good after 2 weeks.good on nachos,burgers,plain out of the jar.i will be making stuffed peppers soon.cut in half.put sausage/onion,cream cheese and mozzarella and bake in the oven.sprinkle with parm cheese when done.

Applewood smoked a thick rubbed pigger steak and two big chicky thighs. Baby Rays hickory sauce on pigger; just my rub on the chicky. Made a pot of steakhouse beans with bacon, jalapeño's, and a shot of bourbon. Put some buttered garlic rolls on warming rack in grill and they baked out perfect. Tad warm out, 92* in the shade on the deck. Slaving over a hot stove.......

Darned tootin'. I took a long shower to cool off, and I'm still drippin' sweat. Sitting right in front of the fan. Once I cool off, I'll get around to eating. Talking really bad weather tomorrow afternoon/nite. The whole 9 yds.
It's especially scary when ya live in a Tree City, USA. Surrounded by huge trees that seem to fall in every storm.

It was worth it.

That's only 1/3 of the pigger steak and one thigh. Filled me up! *burp*

Well my 5lb chicken took 4 hrs at 225 to finish up cooking.tad dark but it is creole cajun smoked chicken.olady bought 10 fresh butchered chickens at 10$ a piece.remember the days of 5$ fresh whole farm chickens..

Lol, I hear ya, dam hot in the plant, did buy some cheese curds after work, might fry some up after I cool off, but having to work at the Chalet on Friday when they flavor the curds, I get to test a lot of them.

Nice, looks great, I remember those days, found bags of wings yesterday for $8.50, so I picked up a couple of them, $20 most every where else.
