Problems with rubber boots cracking?
« on: Dec 07, 2016, 02:37 PM »
Hey guys, I currently have a pair of mickey mouse boots that I've been wearing for the better part of 10 years, but I'm seriously considering getting something new this year. I love the mickey's and probably won't get rid of them but I walk and tow my sleds by hand and the weight of the mickey's is a downside. I'm wondering if you all that have mucks/sorels etc. have problems with the rubber cracking?

Something that extends the life of those ~ before wearing, apply ArmorAll, do it often and store them away from any source of ozone.   Answers.    ;)2
Keep away from open frame electric motors.

I was just more curious if I buy a pair I'm only going to get 2 seasons out of them or something. But I suppose they last longer if you take care of them.....just like anything

My Sorels are heavy as well. I have had them about 8-10 years now. Still in good shape. Only add some water proofing every other year.
