Striker Climate Suit

I was wondering if you take the liners out of the Climate suit will it still float?  Does anyone know where the material that makes it float is?

The liner in the pants are just quilted thinsulate.  The liner in the jacket is actually another thinner jacket.  Floatation is built into shell of suit, not liner.
