Pulled this off the bottom of a local pond with a bucktail jig on Friday. It appears to just be a bright orange bullhead and it was about 7 inches long. Anyone ever seen anything like it?

Theres a few different species of bullhead,that may just be a vibrant yellow bullhead.cool color.

Eastern Colorada and newbraska they are often that color. It explains why the walleyes like an orange/ yellow crankbait! ;)

Cool looking fish! I've caught them orangish like that but never that orange. That's cool!

Very interesting, this seems to be the year of odd colored fish. I’ve seen pics and posts about yellow Burbot, blue perch, yellow perch with no stripes, even saw a pic of a blue perch with no stripes (though I don’t think it was from this year).
