 the best advise i could give to you is to listen to
paul and the ice crew ... they spend many many hours on the ice

We will have to see how much this cold weather we hope is on it's way helps the ice too....

They are talking sub zero and crazy windchills for thurs and fri, that may get you out allot farther!
