If you're on a lake that hold other species of gamefish and trout, then no. If you happen to catch a trout you must release it immediately. If you are targeting trout on any lake or fishing a designated stream trout lake then yes.

By the way holedriller, my grandparents used to live in Dresser for years. Spent alot of my childhood in the dresser/st.croix fall/oceola area. Still have cousins in that neck of the woods. Nice area.
