Fishing this weekend was kind of slow on Friday but picked up again on Saturday.  If you have been sitting around with nothing happening, then get up and move.  There is 16-20 inches of good ice on the lake.  These warm days have created slush but it's still managable.  Forecast for the week shows colder weather so it should firm up.  We are all looking forward to the Trout derby next Saturday.  Hope to see you on the ice.  We will be selling chorizos and 1/4 lb hot dogs as well as soft drinks.  Proceeds from this go to the Wildhorse Road Fund and to Wildhorse State Recreation area.  What could be better than a grilled chorizo out on the ice?

If you haven't fished there, you should ! Last year Perch were 12" - 13" average and a lot of them (50 to 75 a day) Trout, wasn't anything to catch a 5 lber !
Good Fishing
