Sending good thoughts from Maine as well! Visited the Kenai Peninsula last year on my first trip to Alaska and have already planned out our next trip to explore the interior, hopefully within the next year or two. Have friends who live in Homer and was worried about their safety when I heard the tsunami warning, but apparently they're pretty much accustomed to it and weren't nearly as worried as we were back here in Maine. Anxiously awaiting safe ice here in the northeast... Take care!
