my friends 41inch about 12 -16lbs.++ michigan.... 2 days ago..

thanks!! it was a fighter too! it is off of a private no motor lake!. all fish out of this lake are great eating as well as the coloring is good too. You can drink the water if you get thirsty, that is how clear and clean it is.

all we had was a tape and no scale but ya it probaly was a bit heavier. ;D

I'd agree on the weight.  The pike in my avatar was a smidge over 40" and weighed exactly 19 lbs on a certified scale.

Yeah I'd have to concur. Every 40 inch Pike I have caught has been in the 17lb to 20lb range some are a little more slender thean others.

Nice fish WW!  Is it me or is that pike's lower and upper jaw turned "up"??  Looks like a duck billed pike!

Nice fish, I would say Somewhere around 16lbs however. Just becuase its 41" doesn't mean its going to be 20lbs, a general rule, yes, but I got a 41" 16lb pike last week, and my uncle caught a 44" 11lb northern years ago. Just remember pike grow to the high 30's-low 40's rather fast, and then then pack on the weight once they get over the mid 30" mark.
