Anyone know what is wrong with the beach web cams

Inquired about the cam, reply was someone came and checked it , said they would send someone who knew more about it. They said they have called every 5 days and no. Response. Have called 3 other companies and none returned calls..

So, if anyone works on stuff like this, contact the village office and you will have a job.....

The cameras have been very helpful to many people including ice fishermen, boaters and beach goers who like to see conditions before driving any distance. If they are damaged they should be replaced. The fact they just sit there broken does not reflect well on Sylvan Beach administration. Maybe the local chamber of commerce can help. It hurts tourism.

i'mot a expert on these   modern marvels but i think the problem   is they are broke .....

They wrote that it was the internet connection.  Probably had a plumber look at it. ?  I also mentioned that if they ever did get it fixed to move the sunset cam a little to the South so it showed the rock pile.  I’m not holding my breath on anything before the 4 th of july.  Maybe get hold of Eddie.. He owns the village..

Has anyone taken a ethernet cord and plugged into the camera with a laptop to see if the camera is actually broke?  If the ends of the wire are Corroded I can cut off and replace them if someone wants to show me the exact location of the camera.  But I don't need the cops showing up and getting blamed for the broken camera

Scroll down on the cam page and they have an email address. They will reply quickly.   They have had enough feed back to want it up and running.  Throw them a price less parts.  No one answers their calls.
