looks like beach is locked up out a few hundred yards then open water.......hopefully by early next week we will be out there

Im not sure if that open by the beach or slush covered the wind is blowing out of west pretty could and the slush has pretty much stopped heading east near chapman so i would think its slush packed all the way to the east, either way the slush will help with the wind so you dont get wave action and it should lock up.

Yep big slussy in front of the house with some open spots. Only problem with frozen slush is it doesn't make for the best ice.

no it dosnt but it will help this time around if there wasnt slush right now it would be whitecaps and would make it much harder to freeze consistant

We are probably headed to same spot, not sure what Todd and them are doing I’ll ask. He’s helping a friend build a fishing shack for Raquette and launch date is Sunday I think. Hopefully we’ll give those strippers a workout👍🏿

got out for a while this morning. ended up with 35 nice sunnies & gills, and 2 crappies !! 7" of ice.

no it was funny he really was the only guy that caught fish ,i laughed my ass off ...... i started selling sully line of jigs in the parking lot .....i made 35 bucks
