Well this how I spent my Sunday umpa is a little horse today lol he ended in second place , first match he reached back and got caught but he won the rest 2 pins by cradle and the others a nice tight half Nelson he’s learning he just turned 8

My day was terrible..windy, snowy, fish active and moving but not biting my stuff....4 hours for 4 crappie and a few dink bluegills.

Those wrestling matches are exciting and intense Fred.

2 kids...one on one in a circle on a mat.... with all the coaches, teammates, friends, and family yelling and screaming instruction and encouragement ...cheering for every point made...the ebb and flow of a match is awesome.

The best part for me is when the match is over, the winners arm is raised, ,,,,,,,, AND THEY ALWAYS SHAKE EACH OTHERS HAND BEFORE LEAVING THAT MAT...sportsmanship ,.... and fun to watch.

Not sure if you guys seen it, but I watched the Penn State(1) vs Ohio State(2) wrestling match on Saturday night.
Rec Hall was sold out and with 6700 people, it was LOUD!!! Penn State won it 19-18 with a depleted starting squad and fired up second stringers.
It’s just amazing to see as kids like Umpa’s little man progress thru the years up to the collegiate level. It takes a lot of work by those boys to get to a top D1 program like the two that I watched! Good luck in your future, little man!!

Moose feet, the flu is hard this year. I had it in dec and again 2 1/2 weeks later (made for a later start to fishing). So take slow for a while after you feel good.

Well late start this morning was heading north got as far as Adams ran into pretty heavy snow visibility was squat , wasn’t even half way there going at 35mph decided to turn around and head home , I’ll give it a shot another time
