It was online. Didn’t get a chance to read beyond the description of the graphic yet.

Very good article...it explains my situation on Saturday. Gotta take advantage of this early ice. It definitely wasn't this good last year.

Went out of Sylvan Beach this morning with my nephew.  He caught his first few walleye ever which was a good thing.  All in all we caught a dozen or more pins and a few keeper perch.  Ice in good shape.  Only made it out to 21 feet of water before hitting the edge of all the ice slabs.  Nice day to be out.

I'm going to head out in the morning somewhere on north shore with the wheeler, anyone now what the conditions are in Cleveland or Taft, ice looked rough there on Sat.when I came back from Edgewater

The ice in Cleveland and Taft is still in rough shape.

Friend of mine went out of Taft with his sled yesterday. Couldn’t get to where he wanted to due to the rough ice conditions.

There are spots out of Cleveland that you could probably get stuck with a sled or wheeler if you stopped. Big peices of ice sticking up going every direction. I had to slowly pick through a few nasty spots on Monday.

Yeah. I've been out a few times with the wheeler off the north shore and it's tough. Most of those chunks are too solid to smash down so you have to just slowly weave around avoiding the ones that will hang you up and be ready to bottom out a lot.

Can you access the lake from Verona beach State Park? Or should I say, do they allow it? Just never hear it mentioned. They have massive parking.

If I remember correctly, isn't it a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the ice?
