Well, I for one, am losing all respect and not seeing any credability in the National Weather Service (and their warnings) or the meterologists making predictions, long or short.
We had a snow warning last night, today and tonight = NOTTA! barely a flake of snow.
Take it one day at time folks and hope for some good ice this year. We are due!

I also grabbed these to try at runnings in Rome. They have a rattle and no front hook.

Spent the day with the old man deer hunting his last day of the season. He had some good chances this year but finally cashed in today I am a proud father of my kids everyday but today I am a proud son of the old man

Illegal deer in my neck of the woods....need to have 3 (three) points on at least one horn, at least 1 inch long per point. Nice buck however !!!

Love the slab raps! Definitely joined my first tier rotation last year, which was my worst season ever. Can't wait to see how they do in a more normal season.

Freddy - last week I noticed the eyes were gorging themselves on gobies. That is the first time I saw gobies in eyes from Oneida.

It will be interesting to see if they eat them all winter. The gobies go deep in the winter...

Very interesting Bruce , I’m surprised they weren’t full of buckeyes , the canal has been stuffed on and off lately , I know the perch have been feeding on gobies , I caught some perch last winter that had gobies in them ,
Well it does answer 1 thing , the shad are gone ,
