Met up with Capt. of the filthy oar on Saturday. Great guy, we had a ton of fun and a lot of laughs. Carson was exceptional, the ice is 12-15" and lots of vehicles. The trout are biting hard and 60 fish a day is possible, if you have kids and want a great day it's the place to go. The people of Whitecourt are so lucky to have such a fishery so close, and it is sure handy to fish a lake where if you need something it is 10 minutes away. Tight lines people!
