Need a Cap For Jiffy Auger

Does anyone have an extra gas cap for a Jiffy Auger Model 30?  Mine for some reason leaks gas and i need one bad.

have u replaced the rubber ring in the cap or did it fall out that may be all it is

The rubber ring came half out one day and i put it back in. Still leakes gas

Try a sheet of head gasket material from an auto parts store and cut a 2nd ring. If not, I'm sure Jiffy can mail you one overnite for a few bucks.

arent replacement caps for lawn movers the same or close too  the ones on a jiffy or a weedwacker or something? I would think that a good hardwarer store would have caps that would fit.

My local baitshops both have repacement caps oryou could order on from Jiffy.

Try any local small engine repair shop that sells part. Thats a stock item for sure! I bought one myself a few years back.
