Does anyone offer daily rental of flashers?
« on: Oct 17, 2010, 09:45 AM »
Is anyone aware of any shop in the Lake George -Schroon Lake area that offers flashers for daily rental?   ???
I hear great things about flashers but have never even seen one operated and am put-off by the hefty price tag.
A test drive would be helpful and appreciated.
Thanks to anyone who may post useful info.
Good luck and be safe on the ice this year!

Fish 307 definitely rented them last year ....  $25 a day i think.....   and well worth the money   ... get a batch of "cup bait" to tip your lures with and you're ready to roll....

Keep an eye on Craigslist ... i bought a Lowrance X67C for $50 a couple of weeks ago ;D   .....  even though i already had one. I had planned on putting it on EBay but sold it to my buddy instead.

Maybe off on some high cold mountain chain.

I know it's not in your area, but for anyone in the WNY area, Niagara Outdoors in North Tonawanda rents them also, not sure how much. I stopped in to look at bows a couple weeks ago and noticed a sign on one of thier display cases. They have a nice little store there and they were more than willing to answer any questions and shoot the breeze, they even put up with me for 15min past thier closing time.

To follow up.   Fish 307 in lake goerge did last year and I will be sure this can continue this year as well.  last year it was the FL20 that he was renting.  If that one is still there I am sure it will come back out on the shelf for rental..
