How high it is is the only thing that I do not like.  It is in the plan to lower it a couple inches and make some lower steps for it.

Shanty fits perfectly in the back when folded. Chairs, heater, Vexilar and more fit neatly underneath. Perfect set up for 2 guys, or my wife and I. Plus with the half top we stay nice and warm as the motor heats up the cab very nicely.

Well, I think I finally have my ATV set up for the hardwater. I really like this because I can carry all my gear on the ATV. Much better than towing the Otter sled w/cover.

The ION sits in a gun rack I bought at WalMart. Looks pretty silly, but I've got a towel wrapped around the auger shaft so it fits real snug. Will change that when I find something more suitable.

Crates are attached to the rear rack with heavy duty zip ties. Sturdy as can be & all the gear stays in place with a few bungie cords across the crates.

I've been out with this ATV set up 5 times in the past 2 weeks. Needs a couple tweeks to make it even better, but for now it works just fine.

Oh, I bought my first snowmobile about 1 1/2 months ago. It's 13 years old & had 982 miles on it. Very fun to ride & works quite well for the hardwater when there's a fair amount of fresh snow.

I have never seen one of these on the ice here in WI and I fish all over place. With all the slush we have here, I'd have though this would be a dream machine.

52 - It is a great way to go for sure. Not a speed demon like some of the UTV, but I can cross any pressure crack or open water as it will climb back on the ice (reverse only and you have to have the ice cleats).

here's mine, bought it last year to use this year for fishing. We had a warm up in January and the ice blew out, then no safe ice after that. Used it to haul wood from the barn to the house, put 4.2 miles on it.

Do you have video of this thing running? How fast does it go? I'm really surprised that there is enough weight on the "blade, tooth thing" (how is that for a scientific name LOL) to move a boat very well. Cool A$$ idea though.

Thanks man, there is a YouTube link right above the last picture... Here it is again..

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yYCjKFovqvc

Right now with the current sprocket it goes about 15mph.. But that's what it did with the 3hp.. Running 13hp now, with a simple sprocket change, I'm sure I could easily double the MPH with ponies to spare..

That's so awesome! I must be blind to miss that link haha. Is this something you came up with entirely?

Edit: gave you a sub on YouTube also!

Thanks TR!

No it was commercially made back in the day.. Made in Wisconsin..

Not too many around these days..

Thanks for the sub, but I might just have the most boring YouTube channel in the entire universe lol..

This is a pretty cool video, pretty funny too.. I don't know them at all, but their reaction to my boat at 12:10 is pretty funny. We were over 10 miles from shore when they caught me on camera..

Go to the "Share this Photo" to the left of your picture. Then go to the bottom box, "IMG" and click on it, it will briefly change yellow and say "copied". Then just paste it here. Hope this helps, bart

Here's my prime mover. Cat M800 Proclimb 162''.  To be honest it's a bit too powerful to haul the shanty. The old ski-doo 550F is better at.
